Your Body is an Olympic Temple – How to eat like an Olympic athlete
The Olympics are wrapping up but not for Nuez de la India. Watching all of the amazing athletes reminds all of us at Nuez de la India that our bodies are all temples. We put so much into them and we get a lot back. Even if we aren’t running marathons or swimming great distances it’s important to learn from those lean, mean, Olympic machines. While you continue taking Nuez de la India you notice that your body needs new things. How can you super charge your body to maximize your performance? Even if your Olympic task is making it through the work week without yelling at Susan from Accounting who keeps asking you who you’re voting for. IT IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, SUSAN!
This awesome article from Vox talks about how Olympic athletes eat simply. They eat often; they eat clean and very little. That last part might throw you but it makes a lot of sense when you think about it. In addition to using Nuez de la India to relax and help avoid bloat your body LOVES clean eating. All of those delicious snacks that we keep talking about? Those are good for you. That is part of the Olympic eating process.
Eating often means that your body is never “hungry.” Part of keeping lean is filling your body up with delicious and healthy food to make sure that it’s running correctly. Detoxing from unhealthy, processed food takes time. Nuez de la India helps with that detox! When you eat often your body never thinks that it’s in starvation mode. You don’t have to worry about keeping water weight on because your body is happy.
Eating clean is a huge part of the Nuez de la India lifestyle. You know that when you eat clean you feel better. It just means that you’re cutting out all of that processed crap which isn’t so hard once you start doing it. Eating clean isn’t a gimmick, just like Nuez de la India. In order for your body to process your food and maximize the calories you need to make it easy for your body to do so. Cut out all of that processed sugar or processed carbs. They’re not worth it at the end of the day. Think about how much better you will run if you eat like someone who is training for the Olympics!
Eating very “little” can be misleading especially when it comes to Olympic athletes. It’s not as if you are starving yourself but rather you are taking into consideration how many calories you eat in order for you to maximize your health and performance. Think about it this way – you can eat all of the delicious clean snacks that you want but it has to be portioned. Eating an entire box of healthy snacks still means you ate the entire box. Eating mindfully is the best!
Staying on track is easy when you put your mind to it just like those amazing athletes who are bringing home the gold for their countries. Eat clean and take your Nuez de la India because after all your body IS a temple.
