Clean Eating Staples

One of the best things to have around the house while you are eating clean is fresh seasonal produce. So, as you can imagine things like spinach and kale are great for you. You can eat as much of them as possible, and including a small portion in every meal. Think about how great it would be to bring a mini quiche to work with nothing but vegetables and hot sauce. Other great things to pick up that you can put in almost any dish that you can make is cabbage, broccoli, avocado and cauliflower. Cauliflower is something great to cook with because it is available all year round. Try to make mashed cauliflower. It’s amazing and you can eat it all of the time by making it taste however you want!
Meat is easy, just like eggs. Think about the type of animal that you would want to be, other than gorgeous. Keep in mind that your eggs should be grass fed and free range (since they avoid dangerous chemicals) and your meat should be the same. If you decide that you would like to have dairy in your diet it’s also important to keep things pasteurized for the sake of your stomach.
Getting fat in your diet might be easier than you think since almost everything that you eat has to be cooked at some point. Keeping coconut oil on your shelf might be so hard since it makes everything better (including adding it to the insides of your baking pans!). Using olive oil and ghee to cook makes it easier for you to stay on track and keep ugly saturated fats out of your diet. When you think about it, this isn’t that hard.
